My very first assignment was to write an ad announcing a party celebrating the 50th anniversary of an investment firm. I spent days writing and rewriting. Then just before the party, the ad was killed.The client used the ad budget to buy more liquor for the party. Ups and downs. Wins and losses. I’ve had both… but mostly wins.

  • Creating all marketing materials for Citibank’s PC Banking, their most successful product launch
  • Introducing USPS “Stampers” program that attracted tens of thousands of kids to start collecting stamps
  • Producing all patient information introducing Eli Lilly’s life-altering ADHD medication
  • Repositioning Brooklyn’s Prospect Park and increasing visitation, revenue and fundraising
  • Creating all ads for Mario Cuomo’s first campaign for Governor – he won after starting 35 points behind in polls
  • Getting higher salaries, and improved working conditions for New York City municipal unions
  • Revitalizing “I Love NY” tourism and economic development resulting in record new visitors and job creation
  • Writing newspaper columns that were always the most read whenever they appeared
